Lance joined Herbert Parnell (part of the Shaw Gibbs Group) in 2001 from a top 10 national practice, where he was an audit manager. 

Although he is responsible for the larger audits of both limited companies and charities, Lance enjoys working alongside the proprietors of businesses of all sizes to give a broad range of tax and business advice. 

He has acted for several of his clients for nearly 30 years and aims to establish long-term business relationships wherever possible. 

Lance has extensive experience advising charities and churches, whether that be assisting with their bookkeeping functions or independent examinations of the financial records.   

Lance is married with three grown up daughters. Outside of work, he is actively involved in the life of his church, watches most of London Irish’s home games and visits Brittany as often as possible.
