Stephen trained and qualified with KPMG in Birmingham, where he worked on the audit of major corporate and professional clients. At Shaw Gibbs he is responsible for a portfolio of the firm’s larger and more complex audit clients, including clients subject to specialist audit requirements. His experience includes working with solicitors, companies regulated by the Financial Services Act, employment agencies, religious organisations and educational establishments.

In addition, he provides in house technical audit support and technical assistance to other practitioners, such as independent audit file reviews.

Away from the office, Stephen enjoys sport and travel, as well as going to the theatre and cinema.
