Clients and Markets Executive - Oxford

We have ambitious growth plans and are currently looking for a Clients and Markets Executive to join our Oxford team. Your role will be varied, challenging and hugely rewarding. 

This is a full-time permanent position based in our Oxford office with flexible working options.

The Role 

Your key responsibilities would include the below:

  • Build a network of connections who have the capacity to refer work or to work in collaboration with
  • Spot market opportunities to create content/campaigns and to introduce new collaborations for the firm with the aim of attracting new business
  • Provide an advisory role to all fee earners in relation to generating leads, management of the pipeline and best practice in getting opportunities over the line
  • Provide representation at external meetings and networking events and the DFK marketing group
  • Produce agendas and reporting for business development meetings which engage and inform 
  • Distribute new client enquiries received by email/web/phone calls to the appropriate Division lead and follow-up/send a holding email if the fee earner is unable to respond within 24 hours
  • Provide BD induction meetings with new starters as necessary 

About You 

We would like to hear from you if you are a quick learner and can tick all of the below:
  • CIM qualified or a desire to work towards.
  • English and Maths GCSE level or equivalent
  • Experience of being in a similar role
Ideally have experience of:
  • Pipeline management
  • Business development
  • CRM databases
  • Market research
  • Strong attention to detail, numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills – written, oral and interpersonal 
  • A creative flair
  • Outgoing and self-confident
  • A self-starter and a team player
  • Self-motivated and able to manage own workload, prioritising multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
