Financial Planning Business Support Trainee – Oxford

We are growing rapidly and are currently recruiting for a Business Support Trainee within the Oxford office to support our Financial Planners. The Business Support Trainee role will support our Financial Planners with client servicing and the review process. You will be responsible for running the review process, communicating with clients and producing client specific documentation.  You will work with a range of interesting clients from individuals, families and small to medium size companies. 

About You

If you’re bright, enterprising and a fast learner, then we want to hear from you. It would also be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way:

  • A-Levels grades at BBC or higher e.g. a degree in a related discipline i.e. Finance or have at least 1 years’ experience within a similar role.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills
  • A positive, confident and proactive attitude
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and self-motivated
  • Willingness to undertake and succeed in a range of professional studies
  • Relevant work experience would be great but not essential
  • Ability to work with procedures

The Business Support Trainee is a varied role and will provide lots of opportunities to learn new skills in a friendly firm which has a culture underpinned by continuous learning and improvement.  To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have exceptional attention to detail
  • Be able to run the review diary without error
  • Produce reports from Analytics
  • Have demonstrable client facing relationship skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
