HR Adviser (part time 20-25 hours/week) - Oxford

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Adviser to join a progressive HR team.

The HR team are responsible for leading and delivering the HR strategy and we also provide HR advice to a number of our clients. We are recruiting for an experienced part time HR Adviser to support our ambitious growth plans. The HR team are about to implement a number of innovative HR projects to drive through positive changes and the new HR Adviser will play a key role in these. It is an exciting time to join our HR team.


The HR Adviser role will be varied, stimulating and hugely rewarding.


Key Accountabilities:

Reporting to the HR Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing HR advice to managers and staff on aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring high standards of customer service

- Working closely with our HR Assistant, helping to grow her technical knowledge and HR skills

- Managing the recruitment process from start to finish

- Leading HR generalist activities such as engagement surveys, benefits renewal, monthly HR & payroll reporting and policies

- Playing a key role in a wide range of projects to further improve our employee proposition

- Managing training and development activities including conducting skills analysis, development programmes & budgets

- Assisting the HR Manager with casework & external HR clients as and when required

This is a part time role based in our Oxford office with occasional travel to our London office.


The ideal candidate


We're looking for someone who demonstrates resilience, a can do attitude and who is focused on getting things right first time in a fast paced environment.


You will be CIPD qualified with experience of working within a generalist HR environment in the private sector. Must have extensive recruitment experience, up-to-date employment law knowledge and a degree (or equivalent) qualification.


You will need to be a strong team player, highly professional at all times with a tactful, discreet and confident manner. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential along with strong interpersonal skills, a commercial outlook and impressive organisational skills.
