Internal Recruiter – 6 – 12 month FTC + Flexible Working

Due to planned growth, we are looking for an Internal Recruiter to lead our recruitment campaigns and turbo boost how we recruit! You would be joining our HR team which consists of an HR Manager and an HR Assistant. We are flexible on hours - we estimate this new role is at least 2-3 days/week and these hours can be spread across the entire week to fit the candidate. It is a part-time position for the next 6-12 months with the definite possibility of it becoming a permanent position. You would be based in our Oxford office and have plenty of flexibility to work from home each week to fit around your lifestyle.

The Role

Reporting to the HR Manager, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Developing strong candidate sourcing methodologies to attract the best talent
  • Challenging the status quo and providing innovative ideas on how to improve our candidate proposition 
  • Maximising the use of social media and other attraction methods
  • Liaising with senior stakeholders to map out new vacancies
  • Placing adverts, managing applications and shortlisting candidates
  • Arranging interviews, personality profiling and technical assessments 
  • Leading first stage interviews with the hiring manager
  • Providing regular updates to internal stakeholders
  • Developing long term relationships with our partner recruitment agencies
  • Being an ambassador for the Shaw Gibbs brand
  • Talent mapping and headhunting candidates using LinkedIn
  • Liaising with the HR team on offers, contracts and onboarding

About You

This role would suit someone with a strong background in recruitment either in an agency or inhouse. You will have outstanding communication skills, thrive in a fast paced environment and be up for the challenge of working on a wide variety of roles from Trainee to Senior Manager. Above all, you will be a fast learner with a positive attitude. Professional services sector experience would be an advantage but not essential.
