Internal Recruiter – Oxford – hybrid & flexible working

Due to planned growth, we are looking for an Internal Recruiter to lead our recruitment campaigns and turbo boost how we recruit! You will be based in our Oxford office but can work from home/remotely for part of the week. We are flexible on hours – this role could be full-time or part time. If you are interested in a full-time position, you will get the opportunity to work on other HR projects alongside recruitment. 

The Role 

Your core responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing the full recruitment cycle, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience 
  • Leading recruitment campaigns on a range of roles from Trainee to Partner 
  • Talent mapping and headhunting candidates using LinkedIn 
  • Developing innovative ways of attracting talent to the company as we grow 
  • Maximising the use of social media and other attraction methods 
  • Developing long term relationships with our partner recruitment agencies 
  • Liaising with the wider HR team on offers, contracts and onboarding

About You 

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written 
  • Strong organisational skills 
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing – this will help you engage candidates with Shaw Gibbs 
  • Resilient and show initiative – we strive to hire the right person first time which means we are prepared to hold out for someone who is going to be a better culture fit to Shaw Gibbs. You will need to show resilience and be up for trying something different to attract candidates. 
  • Strong team player with a positive, can do attitude 
  • Thrive in a busy, fast paced environment 
  • Professional and client centric approach 
  • Great IT skills and able to pick up new IT packages very quickly 
  • Educated to A Level (or equivalent) or above 

Your personality and outlook on life is more important to us than how many years’ experience you have. That said, at least 1-2 years’ experience in recruitment, HR and/or admin would certainly be beneficial.
