Senior Insolvency Administrator – Oxford or London

Our Insolvency & Advisory team help guide businesses and individuals through periods of financial difficulty and deal with both formal and informal insolvency solutions. Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Insolvency Administrator to be based in either our Oxford or London office. This new full time permanent role is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded practice and develop your career.

We have a great flexible working policy that allows you to work when you want to around core hours, as well as hybrid working. Hybrid and flexible working are an integral part of our culture.  If you wish to be based in our London office, you would need to work in our Oxford office on an occasional basis for team meetings and events.

About this role

You will be responsible for a varied case load and will provide support to the two Insolvency Practitioners.  Your core responsibilities will include:

 

  • Dealing with solvent and insolvent liquidations 
  • Supporting a portfolio of cases from appointment to closure, ensuring all aspects of cases are progressed efficiently and effectively
  • Preparing and implementing case strategy, with support
  • Preparing statutory reports
  • Convening decision procedures
  • Ensuring all cases are compliant in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Drafting reports and attending meetings
  • Liaising with clients/directors/creditors/employees/agents
  • Supporting senior members of the team with case related tasks
  • Developing and applying your technical knowledge through on the job training and formal qualifications

About You

You will be a bright and enterprising individual with at least 5 years insolvency practice experience in a similar role and proven track record of successfully supporting cases from appointment to closure.  Ideally, you should be ACCA qualified or studying towards it. You will be CPI qualified.

  • Self-sufficient, with the ability to plan and manage your own workload
  • A sound knowledge of IPS

  • Create a positive impact with clients and staff
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including excel, word, outlook & PowerPoint
