On Friday (29 May) Rishi Sunak announced an extension to the Self Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS).

On Friday (29 May) Rishi Sunak announced an extension to the Self Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS).
Self-employed people will be able to make a claim for a second and final grant in August which will cover June-August and will be worth 70% of average monthly trading profits.
This will be the final self-employed Grant and will be capped at a total of £6,570. You do not have to had claimed the first Grant in order to claim the second.
More information on how to apply for the Grant will be available on 12 June.
