Darshil joined Shaw Gibbs in August 2017. He is an ACCA member, honours accountancy and finance graduate who has over eight years of experience.

Specialising in inbound clients with overseas owners, Darshil helps his clients move forward in refining all aspects of their financial recording and reporting including the use of cloud platforms and apps.

Outside of work Darshil enjoys travelling the world and playing football.

Preparing for your year-end audit

A statutory audit is carried out once a year and can mean a lot of work for a client, especially if there are complexities such as share-based payments, revenue recognition on stage of completion basis etc. For some companies, there is no justification to hire additional staff in just to facilitate the audit.
