Nicola heads the Audit Team in the Northampton office and looks after a portfolio of clients, which includes the firm’s charity Independent Examination clients. She is responsible for the day to day management of clients’ affairs including the preparation of company accounts, corporation tax returns, audits and independent examinations as well as providing general advice and support. She works with clients of varying sizes from a wide range of industries and has a strong background in working with charities.

Having graduated from Nottingham University, Nicola trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010 with an independent firm in Nottingham. Nicola then moved back home to Northampton where she joined a then top 20, and later top 10, accounting firm to develop her experience and rose to Assistant Manager. Nicola joined DNG (now part of the Shaw Gibbs Group) in March 2017 as a Corporate Services Manager.

Nicola is a keen reader and sport enthusiast and, although she spends most of her time entertaining her young son, plays netball for two teams including as captain of the DNG Dynamites.
