Sammy started her tax career at Baker Tilly in 1987, focusing on Corporation Tax and obtaining her ATT qualification in 1997. Since qualifying, her experience has extended to include R&D for SME and large companies, ATED, EIS applications and compliance and company share option schemes. 

In recent years, she has further expanded her experience to include Personal Income Tax and related matters. She joined the Shaw Gibbs (formerly Wise & Co) tax team in October 2021, bringing additional expertise to the growing team. When not in the office, Sammy loves being outdoors as much as possible and is working on making her garden a haven for wildlife. Her other passions include hiking and relaxing with a good book.
