Smita has been with DNG (now part of the Shaw Gibbs Group) since 2019 as a Payroll Manager and is very passionate about her role with over 25 years’ experience in the payroll profession. Smita also has some knowledge of HR and achieved her CIPD level 5 Associate certificate in Feb 2022.

Smita manages all aspect of payroll from start to finish and ensuring all the deadlines are adhered. Knowledge extends to Auto(re) Enrolment, P11ds’, payroll benefiting, furlough schemes during the pandemic, PSA and CIS together with management skills.

Smita carry’s out payroll Health Checks for clients to ensure compliance with legislations. She gets great satisfaction from resolving complex payroll issues with both clients and external bodies e.g., HMRC.

In her spare time Smita enjoys Indian cooking and is always up for giving back to the community especially the vulnerable and elderly. She is part of a weekly running club, which helps her to de-stress and relax the mind.
