After completing private secretarial training, audio and shorthand typing at college, Andrea spent the first 10 years of her career in accounting as the Branch Receptionist/Secretary, often helping the accountants with general book-keeping and VAT Return preparation.   Andrea was then offered training and went on to complete and pass her Certified Accounting Technician certificate.  Working closely with many clients in the entertainment industry and a variety of other industries, Andrea spent the next 22 years fully maintaining client records, preparing VAT Returns and management accounts, and preparing some small payrolls.  Her PA skills have been put to very good use for some clients, with Andrea going the extra mile to ensure client careers and lives run extremely smoothly.  Andrea has a great knowledge of Sage Line 50 Accounting and in recent years Xero and Quickbooks.  In the last few years, Andrea has been assisting in the preparation of GP Surgery Partial Exemption VAT Returns.

Outside of work Andrea is mum to 2 grown-up boys and 4 cats. Andrea can usually be found with her head in a book and as an avid reader, almost anything fiction goes. Andrea is also a very keen walker, having finally (after 2.5 years) completed walking the Thames Path last year with her husband (upstream and downstream), the next walking project is the South West Coast Path, only 630 miles!
